01Acceptance

These terms govern your use of the Athar app, the website athar-sa.app and their services. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the app.

02Definitions

"Athar" or "we": [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], which operates the app. "User" or "you": anyone who uses the app or the website. "Agency": a verified travel agency that offers its tours through Athar. "Tour": the on-site service an agency provides and a user books.

03Using the app

The app is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish or sell its content, try to access its systems unlawfully, or use it in any way that breaks the law or public decency.

04Your account and verification code

You can browse without an account. When you sign in or book a tour, we send a verification code to your mobile number. You are responsible for giving us the right number and for not sharing the code with anyone.

05Historical content

We prepare the content for each landmark from trusted references and work to keep it accurate. It is meant to inform and introduce. Some landmarks have more than one historical account; if you spot an error, write to us and we will review it.

When you visit a landmark, follow the instructions of the relevant authorities and the visiting hours, and respect the sanctity of religious sites.

06Booking tours

Athar is a technology platform that connects you with agencies. The agency provides the tour and is responsible for running it and for its guides.

The price of a tour, what it includes and its cancellation policy are shown on the tour page before you confirm. A booking is confirmed when you receive the confirmation notification.

Please arrive at the agreed time and place. An agency may treat a long delay or a no-show as a cancellation under its policy.

07Payment and refunds

You pay using the method shown when you book. Online payments go through a licensed payment provider. Any refund due is made according to the cancellation policy shown on the tour page.

08Intellectual property

All of Athar's content, including text, audio recordings, photos, designs and logos, belongs to Athar or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.

09Limitation of liability

We work to keep the app running without interruption but cannot guarantee it will be free of faults. To the extent the law allows, Athar is not liable for anything that happens during a tour that falls under the agency's responsibility, or for indirect losses from using the app.

10Ending your use

You can stop using Athar and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of [CITY] have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

12Changes and contact
